Flight Coverage Check

Flight Coverage Checker

Drop a flight's photos in and catch coverage gaps, overlap, exposure, motion blur and GSD problems before you leave the site — read in your browser, nothing uploaded.

1 · Photos from the flight

Read in your browser only. Nothing is uploaded.

2 · What you planned

DJI ALT is height above takeoff. Set this if takeoff sat well above or below the field.

3 · Field boundary (optional)

Sample flight shown — swaths skipped on purpose so you can see a gap. Drop your own photos to replace it.

GSD and footprint are computed per photo as sensor width × height ÷ focal length, with sensor width derived from the 35 mm-equivalent focal length in the photo's metadata. Gaps are the areas inside the flown block (or your boundary) that no photo footprint covers. Altitude is height above takeoff unless you set a height above ground. Exposure is read from each photo's pixels (decoded small, in your browser): a frame is flagged overexposed when more than 5% of it is blown out, underexposed when it is very dark or its shadows are crushed. Flagged frames show as white (over) or black (under) dots on the map. Motion blur is estimated per photo as ground speed × shutter ÷ GSD (flagged above 2 px of smear), with speed from the drone's telemetry or GPS, and shows as rose rings on the map; blurred frames feed the re-fly generator. The Shutter tile shows the fastest-speed shutter you'd want next time (2 px × GSD ÷ max speed).
